Samvidan Diwas is going to be celebrated as a part of 'Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav, Hon'ble President of lndia will be leading the celebrations of Constitution Day live from Central Hall of Parliament on 26th November 2021 from 11:00 am onwards

Every year 26th November is celebrated as Samvidan Diwas (Constitution Day) to commemorate the day of adoption of our Constitution. This year Samvidan Diwas is going to be celebrated as a part of 'Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav'.

Hon'ble President of lndia will be leading the celebrations of Constitution Day live from Central Hall of Parliament on 26th November 2021 from 11:00 am onwards. The occasion will be graced by Hon'ble Vice-President, Hon'ble Prime Minister, Hon'ble Speaker, Ministers, MPs and other dignitaries. The programme will be live streamed through Sansad TV/ DD/ Other TV Channels and online Portals.

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs will be setting up following two portals so that school children can also participate in these celebrations:
1.      Portal for reading Preamble to the Constitution in 23 languages i.e. 22 official languages and English. (https://readpreamble.nic.in).


2.      Portal for "Online Quiz on Constitutional Democracy" (https://constitutionquiz.nic.in).

These portals will be accessible to everybody to participate and get certificates.

All heads of CBSE affiliated schools are requested for mass reading of the Preamble along with Hon'ble President on this occasion. Students should also be encouraged to visit and receive the certificates from the above portals.

Webinars/ any other activity befitting the occasion may also be organized on 26th November 2021 while keeping COVID protocols in mind. The photos/ report of the same may be uploaded at link given below
